porquinha got a knee prob

ok...i've been dislocating my knee since...like junior high?
So,i'm quite familiar with Sinshe, tukang pijet and those kinds of profession.
HOWEVER...I've never ever want to see a doctor. I dunno,just thinking about a doctor....especially a specialist.
Dunno,my smart-ass-miss-know-it-all attitude has been helping me to hinder from a specialist's examination room.
My first visit to Sports medicine doctor was on January this year, when Instrutor Rafael from grupo Banthus tackled me and I (stupidly) still tried to land on my foot.
There was my first ankle ligament tear...and i still remember what the doc said :
"You better play soccer than capoeira, Brazilians also good at it".
OMG! yeaaaa rite???! And all i had to do was waiting for my ligament to grew back (wish Panoramix could give me a magic potion for it to grew back FASTER).

That was January...
On August,I've tried to train with local grupo, who got very different style of kicking and stuff.
My knee (perhaps it was too tired after dragging 40 kilos of luggage and my bodacious body) got dislocated. I wasn't too worry (hey,it happened like sooo many times before SWGTL).
Then it was swollen for 2 weeks and PAINFUL..so i went to an acupunturist.
She gave me acupunctures and some horrid tasting chinese medicines.
Porquinha used umberella for walking for....a month, because she was too bold and cheapskate to buy a walking stick. The umberella gave up to support my weight after Michael Buble's concert.
So i was...YAY! me can moonwalk again baby!
Tried to ginga and quiexada and armada for a while..the knee felt a bit painful..
I thought it was just the recovery thingy, so I did some swimming.
Wednesday morning..i woke with a start...my knee just got cramp and SO DARN painful..
Oh God..what have I..what have i..what have i done to deserve this? (Pet Shop Boys)
My initial reaction was, trying to sleep again.

Then went to NUS to return books after some silly hours with Askar (yea,i wasn't that entertaining as usual because of that nagging pain). My doc friend (who suspected that my knee was suffering a ligament tear-->huh...not again..on the same leg...) suggest i should go to an emergency.
No I won't,that sounds waaaay tooo serious (i thought).
Today,Dr Aria (thank you bro'!) made me an appointment with some specialist in NUH. I went there with my dear second cousin, who put her children in Orchard and American club,to give me moral support. And mostly directions within NUH..
Dear God! there's a FREE-gratis bus ride to NUH from Buona Vista mrt! soowww cool!

10 mins before the appointment,we've already seated before the doc's door...
I was expecting an aged-looking-thick-spectacled-professor waiting inside.

hooo....
instead, there was a smiley-GANTENG-tall with hair sticking on its ends guy...
"ok,tell me about yourself",this guy said with smile soo wide.

.....then i was blushing when he touched my legs...
If i knew all along..that there's such doc...hum pa pa...
He told me to go to x-ray,so he can be sure what makes my knee nags.
Those huge negatives hang on his light box...my eyes caught something weird..
Doc Ganteng told me,"Your knee cap seems ok,it has returned to it's place, but you see this?". He pointed at a small thing near my knee cap..which i'm sure wasn't mentioned in biology class. "Seems like your knee has brushed against your "a-part-of-my-leg-which-i can't remember-since-i-was-thinking-about-why-he-cuts-his-hair-like-Tongki" and produced a chip of bone that has been floating around inside your knee".

HA??? a piece of BONE?
.....we're not talking about Jeff Smith's famous comic....
Been swimming (sounds more convincing than floating) in my knee?
So,ladies...go to NUH and check this doc out.
